Dear Players,

Welcome to ‘Lost Christmas’, our most recent online escape game. Please note that you will need to rely on a series of tools in order to meet the challenge. We recommend you go online via a computer, rather than other mobile devices. This will enable you to make best use of the clues and supporting documents provided to you over the course of the game. It might be helpful to keep your tabs open to navigate through the information provided more easily.

Mobile devices can be of course used to support your efforts.

Please ensure you have assembled your working tools:

– an active E-mail address (best if you have multiple addresses)

– pen and paper (for example to create a chart “name-motive-alibi“)

We recommend this game for two to four players, but it is entirely possible to play it with one to six people.

You are probably wondering what do next. Start by carefully reading through the documents. You will certainly encounter more useful information beyond the obvious documents and pictures provided to you. Hunt and search everywhere, click onto anything that looks like a link.

Some things/some paths are indeed not easy to find or need to be unlocked by solving puzzles. You can assemble a team of up to 6 people for working on your challenge. Each player can sign up using the same code. For better internal communication, we recommend connecting via Skype/Discord/telephone or something equivalent.

If you end up in a dead end or feel stuck, consult our help system on the next screen. This should be useful.
